Award winning Róbert Dezső heads the tax practice of Szecskay Attorneys at Law. Alongside his tax and customs law practice, he also deals with administrative law, labour law and corporate law matters. He is a registered tax advisor at the Ministry of Economics.

Róbert's strength lies in complex cases within the tax and customs field. He is praised by peers and clients alike and has a proven track record in representing clients successfully in complex tax and customs litigation matters against the National Tax Authority. Clients also praise him for his holistic, business-focused tax advice.

Róbert’s ninja-like tax law skills were recently recognised by Wolters Kluwer, who awarded him with the Award for the Jurist of the Year 2017 in the category „Cases of theoretical significance". He was given this award for his landmark victory in a customs litigation case, a case that the courts had previously declared unwinnable.

Outside of the tax arena, Róbert is a highly-valued and trusted member of the firm’s Corporate/M&A and Employment practice groups too.
