Miklós Boronkay specializes in complex commercial litigation and arbitration cases, as well as in competition law matters. He is the head of Szecskay Attorneys at Law’s Dispute Resolution Practice. He has advised and represented clients in major international (ICC, UNCITRAL) and Hungarian arbitrations and in court proceedings too.

 

He has also represented clients before Hungarian courts in real estate, commercial, corporate and tax disputes. Miklós is an expert in tort and contract law, and has written for a number of publications that cover these areas.

 

Miklós is an arbitrator listed on the Roll of Arbitrators of the Permanent Arbitration Court attached to the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

 

Besides his dispute resolution practice, Miklós has considerable experience in competition law matters. He has participated in a number of cartel, unfair competition and merger control proceedings before the Hungarian Competition Office.

 

Apart from his work as a lawyer, he is also active in academic life: he regularly publishes articles, teaches at universities and gives presentations at various professional conferences.

 

He is fluent in English and German.
