‘Juriste’ Article on AI by András Szecskay

“While a lawyer might get bored after reading the hundredth page of a document, the AI never does, thus saving money and time while improving efficiency and client service.” András Szecskay talks about the status of Legal Tech and Artificial Intelligence in the legal profession in the recently published 2020/4 edition of Juriste International. The magazine is published four times a year by the International Association of Lawyers (UIA) and distributed internationally to UIA members, law firms and bar associations.

In his article titled “Striking a balance between artificial intelligence and law” András Szecskay walks through the relation between Legal Tech and AI and with the help of numerous examples of existing solutions explains their usability in the rapidly changing legal profession. He further presents his view of how to make the influence of AI an opportunity for lawyers and law firms by considering some reservations that must be controlled and eliminated.
