The Hungarian HR magazine Behaviour has talked to Gusztáv Bacher about the renewed Hungarian Advertising Code that is effective since 30 June, 2023. In his position as Chairman of the Ethical Committee of the Hungarian Advertising Association (Magyar Reklámszövetség) he was a member of the codification committee. The Code delivers ethical guidance to individuals and companies in the field of advertising.
In the article he explains why the code needed to be reviewed and covers pillar points such as better protection of children and consumers, the reduction of environment-related manipulation and other ethical questions.
